Fred & I have been planning this trip around Australia for as long as we can remember.  Once we both realised we shared the same travel dream, it was on !  General planning, itinerary mock ups & non stop froth has followed. 

Most of 2016 has been spent preparing, making sure we have all the needed supplies for our journey & of course all the required toys !!  We picked up the caravan third (or fourth or possibly fifth) hand off Gum tree not far from where we lived in Tasmania.  As far as we know, the caravan (aka The Clam) has already made it’s way around Australia with previous owners twice.  She’s had a big make over / renovation inside, as well as some tender love underneath to ensure she lasts the trip.  Third times always a charm, right !? 

Our rough plan is to travel & work our way around the country.  Myself as a registered nurse, Fred as a FIFO seafarer & Barney living every dogs dream of hanging at the beach mostly all day, every day!  Surfing, fishing & diving are our greatest passions & will guide the majority of our trip.
